Cookie Policy
TopGoblin keeps optional analytics and advertising storage off until you choose otherwise.
Last updated: 23 August 20261. What this policy covers
Cookies and similar technologies can store or read information on a device. This policy covers TopGoblin's use of browser storage and optional Vercel Web Analytics and any Google measurement tags configured for the service. Stripe may use its own technologies after you leave TopGoblin for hosted Checkout; Stripe's notices govern that separate page.
2. Current categories
| Category | Purpose | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, payment flow, service operation, and remembering your consent choice in local storage. | Always active |
| Analytics | Measure visits and product usage through Vercel Web Analytics and, when configured, a Google tag so we can improve TopGoblin. | Denied until consent |
| Advertising | Advertising measurement, user-data signals, and ad personalization through configured Google services. | Denied until consent |
3. Consent storage
TopGoblin stores a versioned record named topgoblin_consent_v1 in local storage. It contains your analytics and advertising choices plus the time of the decision. It does not identify you across unrelated websites and is used only to remember the settings on this browser.
4. Analytics providers
Vercel Web Analytics is loaded only after you accept analytics. It helps us understand aggregate traffic and product usage. If a Google tag is configured, it is governed by the same analytics choice.
5. Google Consent Mode v2
Before a choice, TopGoblin sets analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization to denied. In the basic implementation used here, the Google tag is not loaded until at least one optional purpose is accepted. Your choice is then communicated using Google Consent Mode v2.
This custom banner is not a Google-certified TCF CMP. If TopGoblin later serves personalized advertising through AdSense, Ad Manager, or AdMob to users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, a Google-certified CMP must be configured before those ads are enabled.
6. Change or withdraw consent
Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can reopen the panel at any time, disable optional categories, or clear site data in your browser. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before the change.
