Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the TopGoblin game, accounts, leaderboard, and optional game-credit purchases.

TopGoblin is a satirical startup card roguelite. You make company decisions, manage Runway, Users, Hype, Tech Debt, and Sanity, and clear campaign levels for the global leaderboard. It is entertainment, not business, investment, legal, tax, or financial advice.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to accept these terms. You may play a first level as a guest. Purchases require a TopGoblin account created with an email and password or Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. You must not create accounts or use technical means to evade gameplay limits, payment rules, or enforcement actions.
3. Google sign-in
Google sign-in is optional and subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. By choosing it, you authorize Google to authenticate you and provide the basic profile information needed to create or access your TopGoblin account. We do not receive your Google password or authority to access unrelated Google services.
4. Usernames, scores, and the global board
Usernames must be unique and must not impersonate others, infringe rights, or contain illegal, hateful, abusive, or deceptive material. Submitted scores are verified server-side against the starter deck, founder-trait choices, and shared game rules. We may correct, remove, relabel, or disqualify scores, badges, or accounts that result from cheating, bugs, abuse, fraudulent payments, or violations of these terms. Leaderboard positions, available cards, balancing, rewards, and game mechanics may change.
5. Optional purchases
TopGoblin may offer one-time purchases of game credits, such as extra extra runs, redraw tokens, stat boosts, or tactic packs. These are optional, digital, in-game items; they do not convey ownership, equity, a cash prize, real-world value, or a guaranteed leaderboard outcome. Current price, quantity, and included items are shown before Stripe Checkout. There is no subscription unless we clearly state otherwise before payment.
6. Payments, refunds, and chargebacks
Stripe processes payments. You are responsible for reviewing the selected product, amount, currency, and any applicable taxes before authorizing payment. The Refund Policy forms part of these terms. We may remove, suspend, or reverse credits, boosts, results, and badges connected to a refunded, disputed, reversed, unauthorized, or fraudulent payment. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
7. Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, reverse engineer or bypass access controls, automate gameplay in a way that creates an unfair advantage, exploit a bug, submit malicious code, scrape protected endpoints, harass others, or use TopGoblin for unlawful purposes. If you find a vulnerability, report it responsibly rather than exploit it.
8. Intellectual property
TopGoblin, its game design, code, visual assets, text, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. Your public username and gameplay results remain yours, but you grant us the limited right to display them in the game, leaderboard, and related promotional materials.
9. Availability and liability
We aim to keep TopGoblin available and scores accurate, but the service is provided on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or decisions made from a leaderboard position. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Privacy and termination
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data and cookies. You can stop using TopGoblin at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or payment integrity. To request account deletion, contact us at donidhernandez@gmail.com.
11. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Material changes apply prospectively from the updated date shown on this page.
